Demand for boutique accommodation at Heal House is high and there are only three, luxuriously-appointed suites on offer, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Included in the room rate is secure WiFi, 70 Foxtel channels in each room, air-conditioning, complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar, and breakfast for two adults. On-street parking at the front of the property can be reserved if an approximate arrival time is advised at the time of booking.

Access to Heal House is via a set of stairs and due to the heritage nature of the property we are unable to accommodate wheel-chairs, children under 18 years of age or animals. Also, due to the quiet residential position Heal House is not available as a party space and loud music is not allowed at any time. Please note that the hosts do live on-site.

Heal House, boutique Guest House is a smoke-free zone and smoking in the suites, living areas and verandahs is prohibited.

Heal House is for the exclusive use of overnight guests only (maximum 2 adults per room - 6 in total) and is not available for wedding preparations, entertaining, events or functions.

Please note that the kitchen is used by the hosts for the service of guests' breakfasts and is not available for guests' own meal preparations.

Standard check-in is between 2 & 6pm, however this can be extended to 9pm if we requested at the time of booking.

COVID-19 Precautions

We use all safety and cleanliness procedures in compliance with guidelines established by the Australian Government. Not just in this unprecedented time, but always, we will work hard to ensure your wellness and peace-of-mind when staying at Heal House.

Impeccable Cleanliness

We use cleaning products and processes recommended to address the COVID-19 virus by the Australian Government.

  1. We have completed a thorough deep cleaning of all our rooms and common areas.
  2. We have removed all decorative pillows and magazines from the guest rooms.
  3. We will leave your room undisturbed during your stay, please ask us if you require anything such as clean towels or other.
  4. We wash all linen and towels after check-out.
  5. As always we will clean and disinfect guestrooms and bathrooms, including, but not limited to, light switches, handles, remotes, clocks, and hard surfaces. In the hallways and common areas, we will continue to disinfect hard surfaces, handrails, light switches and handles.
  6. We will not be providing guest masks, so please bring your own if you choose.
  7. We have hand sanitiser upon entry into Heal House. We ask that you use it immediately upon arrival.

Check-In & Check-Out Procedures

  1. For guests that provide arrival details or ring on approach, a Manager will greet all guests and assist with check-in. During this procedure, our Managers will wear gloves.
  2. All guests will be asked to use hand sanitiser at entry
  3. A welcome letter and a key to your room will be in your guest suite.

Social Distancing

  1. You will still receive the service you have come to expect with us. We will be available by phone, text, or email if you have any questions about Heal House, local attractions and dining suggestions.
  2. With several common areas to enjoy, including our verandahs and lounge, please use them, but we respectfully ask you to practice appropriate social distancing.

Breakfast Service

  1. All guests are required to make a reservation as seating times will be staggered to ensure social distancing is maintained.
  2. Breakfast is served between the hours of 7am – 9am.
  3. We will continue to offer our full-plated breakfast. Guests can either dine in our breakfast room or on the verandahs.
  4. When preparing breakfast, we will be in compliance with all established guidelines, including using gloves and masks and continual sanitation of work areas.
  5. Tables will only be laid once guests have taken their seat.
  6. Breakfast will take the form of à la carte service.

Arrivals

Every effort is made to accommodate today’s world traveller. Standard check-in times for all suites at Heal House is between 2pm and 6pm, however this can be extended to 9pm if requested at the time of booking. We appreciate that this may not always be possible and where possible access can be made earlier. To avoid any delays at check-in, book the room from the night prior for immediate occupancy - no matter how early you arrive.

Please note Heal House reception is open from 7am to 6pm. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Heal House in advance.

Should guests arrive early and the designated Suite is not available, luggage can be stored and guests invited to use the lounge or explore the city.

For those bookings that provide details and arrival times, a Manager will welcome guests and assist with the check-in process. During this procedure, our team will wear gloves and guests will be asked to use hand sanitiser upon entry.

Check Out

On the day of your departure, guests are asked to vacate the suite by 10am to allow house-keeping to prepare the suite for the next guests.

Should you require a slightly later check-out this can be arranged if you suite is not booked for another guest checking-in.

Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking and we are happy to accept Mastercard, VISA or American Express (no surcharges).

If an individual suite is cancelled up to seven days prior to the day of arrival, 50% of the total booking will be forfeited.

Where a suite is cancelled between eight days and two weeks prior to the day of arrival, 25% of the total booking will be forfeited.

Where a suite is cancelled more than two weeks prior to the day of arrival, a $100 cancellation/administration fee will be charged.

Where a booking for the entire house (three suites) is cancelled up to seven days prior to the day of arrival 100% of the total booking will be forfeited. Where a booking for the entire house is cancelled up to two weeks prior to the day of arrival, 50% of the total booking will be forfeited.
